Manually triggering integration sync

Use the Integration admin page to re-push article data to your integrations — trigger specific articles or all of them, and the individual-trigger option.

The Integration admin page (titled Trigger Integration) lets you manually re-send article data to your integrations — useful for back-filling a newly connected integration, or re-syncing after something failed on the receiving side. Day to day, webhooks keep integrations in sync automatically; this page is the manual fallback.

The Trigger Integration admin page: a Specified Articles section with an article-numbers field and Trigger Specified Articles button, and an all-articles section with a Trigger All Articles button, each with a Trigger articles individually toggle

Triggering a sync

There are two ways to trigger, each in its own section on the page:

  • Specified articles — enter one or more article numbers in the Article Numbers field (separated with a comma or semicolon) and click Trigger Specified Articles.

  • All articles — click Trigger All Articles to trigger integration for every available article in the system.

The "trigger individually" option

Each section has its own Trigger articles individually toggle under Integration Options. Turning it on is slower, but it sends each article on its own so that one failing article doesn't stop the rest from syncing.

A manual trigger re-sends the same article data your integrations already receive — it reaches your webhooks the same way an edit would.
