Materials and treatments

The Admin pages behind composition and finishing: the materials library and its properties, the detail types that dress materials, and treatment types and treatments.

Three Admin pages set up what components are made of and how they're finished: Composition Materials is the materials library, Composition Materials Detail Types the qualities that "dress" a material, and Treatments the finishes you can apply.

Composition materials detail types

Detail types are the qualities that dress a material — for example a sustainability attribute whose values are organic or recycled. To add; write your type in the Search or add box and click Add Detail Type. These attach to the component materials as properties.

Composition materials

The Composition Materials page is the materials library. To add; write your material in the Search or add box and click Add Material, then use Add property to give a material its properties. The same base material can carry different properties, you can hold several dressed variants of it side by side.

Treatments

Treatments are the finishes applied to a component, organised as treatment types that each hold individual treatments as washes, finishes. To add; write your treatment type in the Search or add box and click Add Treatment Type, then add the treatments inside it.
