Sample Round Types defines the kinds of sample round and how they behave.

Sample round types organise your sample rounds. To add; write your type in the Search or add box and click Add Type. Each type carries a color, template files and files that come attached to rounds of that type, and a default email behavior. The email behavior is set per round — the request message, sample received, sample sent, sample review, and measurement report — with a toggle on each that decides whether that event sends an email to the supplier by default or just submits in the round. Events the supplier submits always default to sending an email, regardless of the toggles. All five events are set to send by default — including sample sent and measurement report — so switch a toggle off for any event you would rather only submit in the round.

Each type also carries default request sizes per size system — the sizes requested automatically when an article is added to a sample request of that type, each with a quantity (1 × M, 2 × XS). Leave a size system empty to fall back to its model size.
